NTS to tie up with Uninor for VAS

Niche Tech Services (NTS) is in process to launch the Value Added Services in Uninor within few weeks to come. The services shall be in all the Circles.

Uninor, a product of Unitech Wireless, which is a joint venture between real estate giant Unitech and Norway based Telenor, was launched 4th December 2009. The launch took place simultaneously in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand.

The Uninor GSM mobile service would be spread over 1000 distributors and available to customers from about 1000 points of sale. About 12000 base stations have been setup to support Uninor India in seven telecom circles.

NTS is already operating a SMS VAS Channel 56877 in Reliance Telecom all India GSM and CDMA Network.

NTS as a preferred service by various Board of Education set another benchmark by successfully broadcasting Meghalaya Board of Secondary Education results 2010 on SMS via its Short Code 56877.

In the weeks to come NTS is also scheduled to take care of Results on SMS for Tripura Board, Assam Board and also Engineering Exam results like CEE.

NTS’s SMS based Value added services 56877 which is North East India’s first VAS Channel has introduced exciting SMS based Networking and chatting services “SMS Dost”.

Using this service Reliance all India GSM and CDMA Subscribers shall be enjoying SMS dating and networking at very effective cost of just 1 RS. per SMS. Users can register themselves by sending DOSTREG <Nickname> <Gender> to 56877. Services allow to search for latest and active male/female users and immediately start chatting with them without disclosing the mobile number. Users can also make  a favorites list and block unwanted IDs to send them messages.
